Team Accelerate: Spring Program
We are excited to introduce Team Accelerate, our new SVTC coached training plans.
This new offering combines some of our SVTC workouts with a structured framework that provides a 12 week program leading into your goal triathlon, from sprint to half Ironman distance. Round 1 of our 2025 Team Accelerate offering will lead people through a spring coached plan to peak for a May race, with specific focus on Wildflower Triathlon.
Our coach and club member, Coach Jamii North, will be leading the coaching, with both online and in-person presence to guide you through.
- There will be 3 programs to choose from 6, 9 and 12 hours a week of training volume which you should select based on your athletic background and time constraints.
- We'll be using Training Peaks as a platform and each plan will be downloaded to your Training Peaks individual account so you'll have your plan ready at your fingertips on the app. Most sport smart watches sync automatically with Training Peaks so you'll be able to upload your workouts and monitor against goals.
- There will be a weekly Zoom call, scheduled on Monday evenings for Team Accelerate participants so that you can review the week's goals and key sessions with Coach Jamii and ask her questions. We'll also have a private Slack channel for participants so you can ask the occasional question between Zoom calls.
- Our Tuesday track workouts with Coach Muddy and Wednesday swim sessions will form part of the structured quality workouts for the program.
- Strength training portion will be delivered through an app called Train Heroic. Program participants will receive 2-3 strength/mobility workouts a week that should take no more than 30-45 minutes each.
- This second 12 week session will lead up to peak for the Wildflower Triathlon.
Team Accelerate is open to athletes of all abilities.

Jamii North is a USAT Level 1 Coach, FRC-certified mobility specialist, and women’s physiology specialist. She has her own Fitness Training business in Mountain View which she calls home base.
Jamii started with triathlons in 2012 when a client asked her to do one together. After doing each triathlon distance, she wanted to dive into the technical training aspects and help her clients get the most out of their training. Many of her clients saw so much improvement, yet some, the women around peri/post menopause were still struggling. Then she dove deep into the science of women's physiology to help women feel better and perform better at any age just like their male counterparts.
